Classic tech-diver chrono that fuses form and function
If you’re looking for a hard-wearing watch with classic masculine styling and the chops to emerge unscathed from white water rapids or a punishing sea kayaking trip, allow us to present the Elliot Brown Bloxworth. Featuring a Swiss-made, 13-jewel chronograph movement secured inside a shock-absorbing steel housing, it offers precision and toughness in one no-nonsense package. The case is machined from solid 316L marine-grade stainless steel and finished with a hardened and tempered anti-reflective mineral crystal, for clear vision in all conditions as well as excellent scratch-resistant performance. The dial and hands feature luminous detailing for legibility, while the outer edge of the diver’s bezel has deep castellations for excellent grip. Unidirectional anticlockwise rotation ensures that if it is accidentally knocked when being used for timing, only a shorter remaining time will be indicated – a potential lifesaver when diving. Indeed, underwater performance is at the heart of the Bloxworth. The bolted caseback ensures a perfect seal, and every watch is individually pressure tested to 150m twice during construction, then placed in a water-filled pressure vessel that’s cranked up to 200m. This is a watch built to endure the toughest marine environments

- Sustainability through longevity - Every Elliot Brown watch is designed and constructed to an extraordinarily high standard. These are time pieces which will last a generation or even a lifetime, with periodic servicing. All Elliot Brown watches are backed by a 5-year warranty.
It isn’t easy to carve out a niche in the premium watch industry, where some brands have marketing budgets that run into the tens of millions. But the founders of Elliot Brown knew right from the start what they wanted to build: unique, tough, wearable and extraordinarily capable watches that were made to live up to a standard, not produced down to a price point.
To get there, they pooled all their collective expertise, passions and obsessions. Based in Dorset, Ian Elliot and Alex Brown both live and breathe a coastal, outdoor lifestyle where salt water, sand and mud place huge demands on kit. But with professional backgrounds in horology and materials sciences, they were well placed to imagine and execute the most durable watches on the planet.
That ethos naturally led to collaborations with some of the most demanding users – round-the-world yachtsmen, firefighters, RNLI crews, Mountain Rescue teams and even British military special forces units. These challenges helped the duo to hone the design of each and every Elliot Brown watch to perfection. So, if you want a watch to perform, discreetly but efficiently, day in and day out – there is really no better choice. You can wear an Elliot Brown watch on every adventure, from the everyday to the extraordinary. After all, time is precious. Why waste it?
Elliot Brown design and re-design every component to make watches that are fundamentally fit-for-purpose, minimising or eliminating typical points of failure such as spring bars breaking, straps snapping, or watches leaking - all potentially catastrophic failures.
Any watches damaged in service can be repaired quickly and economically at their in-house workshop in Poole and returned to service with the minimum of disruption.
Not only is their servicing world class, the warranty has no small print. It’s honest, comprehensive, and straightforward. The whole watch is covered for 5 years, not just the movement. The only exclusions are accidental damage, the battery and wear & tear.
